THE CHALLENGE

The brand needed to attract passionate hobbyists while standing out in a niche market often dominated by either overly academic resources or purely transactional retailers. The experience had to balance expert credibility, irreverent personality, and retail performance.

The guiding brief: “Rough and tumbled, full of treasure.”

THE STRATEGY

The solution was to create a brand ecosystem where commerce and culture worked together.

Key priorities included:

  • Building a distinct, memorable voice

I directed and designed the full customer experience, including:

  • Ecommerce design and merchandising systems

  • Brand identity and visual language

  • Blog and educational content framework

  • Campaign creative and promotional assets

Typography, texture, and storytelling cues were crafted to feel adventurous and authentic—capturing the excitement of the hunt while keeping the purchase path intuitive.
