Introducing the Bald Guy!
I’m Jamie C. Winters—an accomplished designer, outdoor enthusiast, and devoted family man. With a career spanning over 25 years, I’ve witnessed and adapted to the evolution of design from pre-digital to today’s cutting-edge digital landscape.
My design journey has been diverse and exciting, ranging from crafting business collateral to conceptualizing building wraps to building websites. I’ve even had the privilege of collaborating with the legendary Arnold Friberg. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with renowned brands and companies, including Kroger, Albertsons, KFC, Taco Bell, A&W, and The Utah Jazz. These experiences have honed my skills and fueled my passion for impactful design and branding.
Before my design career, I proudly served in the United States Navy with the SeaBees. I earned the Navy Achievement Medal and received an honorable discharge after 8 years of 4.0 service. This military background instilled in me discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail—qualities that continue to influence me today.
My professional journey has been as varied as it has been rewarding. I’ve worn many hats: scout instructor, cook, magician, printer, silk screener, photographer, graphic artist, web designer, art director, creative director, military instructor, and even a lapidary teacher. This diverse experience has given me a unique perspective and a well-rounded skill set.
When I’m not immersed in design, you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors. I’m an avid desert rat with a love for hiking, camping, rafting, kayaking, and rockhounding. These adventures not only rejuvenate me but also inspire my creative process.
While I attended Salt Lake Community College for graphic design and photography, I consider myself an extreme autodidact. The lion’s share of my knowledge and skills are self-taught, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
I am blessed with an amazing family. I’m married to a wonderful woman and have a talented, beautiful daughter. Our household is complete with a sweet, affable rescue pit bull mix, a grumpy old chihuahua, and now a new Staffie that may be the harbinger of doom.
Thank you for visiting my page. Whether you’re interested in design help, want to go rockhounding, or just want to chat about branding, I’d love to connect. Let’s create something amazing together!
Design is imagination realized.
